  • Almeria have scored in 88% of their away games.
  • Albacete haven’t kept a clean sheet in 15 league matches.
  • Both teams have scored in 7 of Almeria’s last 8 away trips.

Almeria are just six points off top spot as they chase down a spot in La Liga. The visitors head to Albacete this weekend looking to close the gap on the top two as they search for an automatic promotion spot. However, they have struggled on the road this term and that has cost them in the promotion race.

Almeria have won only five of their 16 trips this term, drawing half of those matches. While they’ve impressed up front – scoring in 88% of their games on the road – they’ve had problems at the back. The visitors come here having shipped 1.2 goals per game on their travels, with their last four on the road seeing both teams score.

Albacete are in trouble near the bottom of the table and they haven’t kept a clean sheet in their last 15 league games. They should struggle at the back once again, but we have faith in them to score against an Almeria side who have conceded in seven of their last eight league trips. Both teams to score is our first prediction here.

With Almeria drawing half of their away clashes, we’re backing them for another point in this one. Albacete have drawn 1-1 in four of their last six league games, so we are backing a repeat here.
