• Dynamo Dresden have conceded in 12 of their 14 home games this season, but have scored in seven of their last eight.
  • Greuther Furth have scored in each of their last six Bundesliga 2 away games but have only kept two clean sheets away all season.
  • Each of Greuther Furth’s last three away games have ended 1-1.

Dresden search for relegation salvation

Dynamo Dresden played their part in an absolute thriller on Saturday afternoon, taking the lead in the opening 10 minutes before going 2-1 down and levelling the scored before half-time. The second half was less eventful, until the closing stages when an 89th minute Makienok goal clinched a dramatic three points for the struggling Dresden.

Despite this, the hosts remain rock bottom of the Bundesliga 2 and six points adrift of the safe spots. That being said, they do have games in hand over the rest of the teams due to their enforced quarantine period.

Mid-table visitors have little to play for

Greuther Furth are in a more favourable 10th position, and in all honesty they have very little to play for. The gap between them and the promotion playoff spot is a hefty 11 points, and they’re more likely to be looking over their shoulders than reaching for the sky.

Furth’s Friday night game saw them fall to a 2-1 defeat against Sandhausen too, extending their winless streak to five matches and making it just one win from their last nine. That being said, four of these have ended all square so we’re predicting a tight matchup on Tuesday.

Goals at both ends expected

What we can all hope for is an abundance of goals. Dynamo Dresden have kept just two clean sheets in their 14 home league games this season, but they have hit the back of the net themselves in seven of their last eight at the DDV-Stadion.

Greuther Furth have scored in each of their last six away games too, although like their opponents they have only kept clean sheets in two of their 14 road trips in 2019/20. All this points towards an appealing looking both teams to score bet.

As mentioned, we’re expecting a tight match on Tuesday. Greuther Furth are unbeaten in four away matches and Dresden have only won two of their last seven at home. However, with each of Greuther Furth’s last three away games ending 1-1, we’re backing that for our correct score prediction.
