A report claims that Manchester United will attempt to sign Tanguy Ndombele from Lyon should they lose Paul Pogba to Real Madrid.
Manchester United will reportedly push ahead with an offer for Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele if Paul Pogba forces through a move to Real Madrid.
Madrid are believed to be trying to lure Pogba to the Bernabeu as part of a major rebuild project, which could also involve the likes of Eden Hazard and Luka Jovic making the switch.
Los Blancos have a long way to go to sign the Frenchman but, according to The Metro, United already have a replacement in mind.
The Red Devils will hold off from making a formal approach for Ndombele until Pogba’s future is clarified, it is claimed, though they could face competition from Paris Saint-Germain, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City.
Ndombele has been used 48 times by Lyon in all competitions this season.
